Meet the hosts!

So who's gonna be hosting us and hold the workshop this lovely October Sunday? Take the chance to get to know our hosts from The Org, and maybe think about some questions to ask them.

The Hosts

Alexandra Birsan - Software Developer
Hey! I’m Alexandra and I work at The Org as a backend developer. I have about six years of experience in both outsourcing and product companies. Outside work, I am interested in discovering more about my inner world. Also, I love to travel and meet people from different cultures.

Laura Thodberg - Product Manager
I joined The Org in January 2020 without any technical experience. I honestly never thought about a career within tech, but The Org changed my mind and now I can’t imagine doing anything else. Though I don’t do programming myself, my job requires a lot of technical understanding and discussions. I have a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, where I specialized in innovation management. I’m very passionate about my job, and in general always eager to learn new cool things.

Esra Kivrak - Data Scientist
I am a data scientist and a part of the data team at The Org. My goal is to use data science methods to provide data-driven business insights from raw data that help The Org become the most transparent and preferable platform for work in the world. I find it fascinating to build a growing and automated framework for streaming data into our platform and enjoy creating meaningful insights by using analytical methods. Before joining The Org, I worked in the telecom industry and digital streaming services as a data analyst. Apart from work, I am fond of swimming and outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.
